The Clay Animation Course is an extensive study of clay animation and the production techniques that go into producing an animated performance.
In this course we will explore the subject of Clay Animation through building puppets, setting up stages, and animating clay. This is an intro to the art and will provide the students with a well rounded knowledge of how to accomplish their own clay animation productions. There will also be content such as worksheets and online resources in a course module for you to access in helping you better understand the art and its processes.

This course is for those individuals who would like to gain a well rounded understanding of clay animation and the stop motion animation process along with how to get started in producing their own animation productions. These methods can be applied to music video production, short films, commercials, and personal projects.

All attendees must have access to the internet. All materials, equipment, and software will be discussed in the course and is not required to participate. A free version of Stop Motion Studio and a smart phone is enough to get started.
